From Our President
Hello, Cardinal families! Your Elmont PTA is so grateful to have the opportunity to serve you, your students, and our teachers throughout the school year. The Elmont PTA is made up of parents, teachers, grandparents, guardians, school staff, and others in the community who want to improve the educational lives of our children. We support and host a variety of enrichment events throughout the year including the Booster Fun Run, spirit nights, Bingo night, movie night, and Teacher Innovation Funds. We also help to support Field Day, Reading Olympics, DARE, 5th grade celebration, teacher appreciation treats, in-school theatre performances, a holiday shop, and many other school programs. The mission of the PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. In addition to all of the programs listed above, we are thrilled that our 2025–2026 fundraising efforts allowed us to have four new smart boards placed in classrooms for use beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. We hope to raise enough this year to purchase at least four more for use in the 2027-2028 school year.
